Giant Squid Plush

Why yes it is a Giant Squid.

HA Partyhat can in fact sew! 3 yards of minky, 14 hours and 84 oz of stuffing later you have the giant squid. It's about 8ft long with the long arms . . that's a full grown slightly over sized Bernese mountain dog as reference . . so yes . . I might not be able to sew as well as Lone Pichu . . . but I can do it!

And yes it is in fact electric blue

I made a few changes when I made mine though:

First I made the bottom circle (piece 3) out of the underside color rather than the outside color.

I used Minky instead of felt

I made the eyes larger than the pattern. For the largest white circle I traced around a CD then altered the other two circles accordingly.

The pattern says to sew the head to the body before stuffing and sew the circle on last. I found it easier to sew the circle on after I attached the legs then sew the head partially to the body, stuff it, then hand sew the last couple inches.

Also when attaching the fins I sewed them unstuffed till about two inches, stuffed them, then sewed the rest of the body.

I'm thinking that's the only changes I made . .
